It is recognised that most hotel operations already outsource Security – however with our concept the oversight is managed by Facility Manager, the hotel’s single point of contact. This gives the hotel a broader and more experienced leadership and supervision than alternative options.
The security team conduct regular hotel security duties such as:
- Vehicle access control
- Control of parking in dedicated car parks or frontage roads
- Monitoring guest drop-off
- Delivery bays
- Beach access
- Lobby monitoring
The number of security staff will vary depending on the hotel layout and functions and the capability of the hotel’s electronic security systems. A survey will need to be carried out to determine security manning and security solution design. Given time, we will look to reduce the manned security head-count using security technology such as access control, cameras, alarms and physical security measures.
There would be no requirement for a Hotel security team as security would be managed by the Facilities Manager.
